Ti-22 fantasy graphing unit. It contains 4 starter games, a graphing calculator function, and about 8 or so secret hidden games that are unlocked or discovered as you play.

This is an AI generated project using the tools at Rosebud.ai to create a virtual console intended to mimic a otherworldly Texas Instruments graphing calculator filled with arcade games.

If you have strong feelings about AI tools in creative work, I think this is an interesting "exception project," that may defy your assumptions!

The Ti-22 is currently 1.37 megabytes in size because virtually every graphical asset inside of the game (except for some portions of the calculator shell) are drawn using direct math draws.

Often people complain "AI art is stealing," but in this case, AI art is code. You could argue that it is stealing code (which is also art), and I agree, but it defies most people's criticism of the technology (which is that specific arrangements of pixels are sacred and are unethical to ingest or reproduce). Surely math equations are public commons -- free for all to generate character art from -- we'd all agree, I hope?

If AI is still a hard no for you, please check out any other game on my profile, as this is currently the only game on my main account which uses *any* AI in the development, and I have been publishing games to the web for almost 20 years the old fashioned way.

Thanks for checking out my work!
